Hi friends. The sun is shining and it seems nothing can be wrong with weather like this. From my sliver of window, I can see a whole mess of yellow-and-orange tulips. Let’s hear it for spring!
And let’s hear it for our volunteers, too. Today, we’d like to single one out: Marian Short. Marian came to us a few months ago, and so far she’s been nothing short of tremendous. In addition to being a great tutor, and charming, and sunshiney, she’s also very crafty. She created two incredible donation boxes for our Monster Union, Local 826. One is Jinx, a two-headed dog, and the other is this guy, as modeled by Marian herself:
So come on into the store and test out our new donation boxes with ... a donation! (What did you think I was going to say?) Also, there’s more information on how these were created here. Thanks Marian!
