Grow a do-gooder stache! Sure, mustaches have always looked cool, but how about mustaches that actually do something cool for the community? Here at 826michigan, nothing says “literacy,” “education,” and “helping out a charity” like facial hair!

Mustache farmers grow mustaches over the course of about a month and a half. Progress is tracked over free beers every Monday night from March 24 to April 28 at 8:26pm at Arbor Brewing Company in Ann Arbor. Growers must show up clean-shaven for the first meeting. All growers receive a personalized trophy. We also give out awards each week for the best stache, and the closing ceremony includes awards such as Most Lucrative Stache (That’s last year’s MLS, Joe Z., showing off the trophy, the stache, and the sash), Li’l Moneymaker, and the Silverstache Award, as well and an award for Best Effort.
