Launch party for Jacqui Robbins’ new book, Two of A Kind

826michigan is excited to announce that the author of The New Girl…and Me and long time 826michigan volunteer and board member, Jacqui Robbins, is celebrating the release her new children’s book, Two of a Kind. Join us Tuesday, July 7, at 6pm at 826michigan for readings, signings, and snacks. The event is free and open to all families; the book is aimed at children aged 4-9 years old.

Published by Atheneum and illustrated by Matt Phelan, Two of a Kind tells the story of Anna, her best friend, and what happens when Anna must chose between playing with the “popular girls” or being true to her friend. It is a sweet, insightful story about the in crowd, the outcasts, and the bravery it takes to be a real, true friend.
