Andrew and Sarah: Day 36

Sarah Johnson, being a member of the finer sex (and without anyone who could have starred in ‘Freaks’ in the genealogy), has never been able to grow a mustache. She does, however, love 826, literacy, and robots. This love drove Sarah to find a way to participate in the Mustache-A-Thon; she began to search for a surrogate mustache grower.

Like all surrogate situations, there were some important stipulations to consider. The surrogate had to be close, someone she wanted to get a beer with once a week, and, most importantly, he had to grow a good-looking mustache and look tough doing it. After taking location, delightfulness, mustache growing history, and number of tattoos into account she decided on Andrew Juhl.

Andrew Juhl, in addition to being a filmmaker, bike rider, and all around sweet dude, is a mustache grower from way back. When asked about mustaches Andrew said, “I have always been a fan of facial hair. Probably got it from my dad. I’m not at the same level as him, but maybe someday.” It is this drive that brings Andrew to the Mustache-A-Thon.

So, Andrew and Sarah have joined follicle forces as a growing/fund raising team. They are excited and ready to grow.
