Maggie Hanks: Day 22

Bio

“It’s unnatural,” they said.
“It’s impossible,” they sputtered.

To that, Maggie just responded by lacing her boots up tighter, and trudging off into the distance.  “Just watch me,” she finally said in first person.  “Just watch me.”

That was weeks ago.  When she finally appeared back over the horizon, she was dusty and world-weary.  Some of the youthful glint had gone out of her one remaining eye, but her hands were gripped tight around something.  Some swear they saw her break into a pharmaceutical company, some only say they suspect the worst.  All we know is that she has a secret.  If you ask her where she went, she’ll just say “I’m ready now.  That’s all that matters.”

Maggie Hanks is not daunted by the mere restraints of nature.  Some have warned her not to mess with the order of things, but she insists she has the power to sport not only one, but five different mustaches over the course of the mustache-a-thon.

She even says, if you play your cards right, you can decide which one comes next.
