My Life As A Robot
Taught by Elaine Reed
Ages 8-10, 12 students
Friday, July 30, 2010: 6-7:30pm (one session)
If you’ve stopped by the Liberty Street Robot Supply & Repair (and if you haven’t, why haven’t you?), you’ve seen Rightbot,
our amazing robot that sits in the front window and cycles through a rotating cast of students faces in its head.
In this workshop, the artist who made that robot will show you how to draw a robot. We’ll look at examples of different
types of robots as we make robots that are reflections of ourselves. After our drawings are completed, we’ll write short
stories about our robots, and our lives as robots.
