Hip-Hop is a unique musical culture comprised of four core elements: B-Boyin (break dancing), MC-ing (rap), Aerosol Art (graffiti writing), and DJ-ing (the cutting, mixing, and scratching of recorded materials).  This special, one time only workshop, will celebrate the development of the MC.  Featuring hip-hop duo Passalacqua and teacher/DJ Charlie Nanos (DJ Nano), participants can expect to create poetry with people deeply connected to hip-hop as an art form.

NOTE: This workshop is a one-time event in partnership with Scholastic for adolescent boys.  Males ages 13-15 are strongly encouraged to attend.
