Look for this workshop
next season!

Be the writer and director for your very own robot bromance, cyborg western, RoboCop musical, or highbrow documentary on the (artificial) lives of AI. In this workshop, you will learn the process of writing a scene of a screenplay and then directing an animated film short. In other words, you get to write a scene for our acclaimed animated robot thespians Antonio Gearhead and BeBop Barrymore to perform on film (click the link to see them give a pitch to be on the workshop schedule!).

The 826michigan Actors Guild and Foreign Press will show your animated short at a special screening at the conclusion of the workshop. This black tie optional affair will give you, our writers and directors, a chance to walk the red carpet, rub elbows with award winning robot actors, and practice acceptance speeches. Plus, free popcorn! Families are invited to this final screening, too!
