Look for this workshop
next season!

All school year long, you’ve learned about historical figures, scientists, and principles of physics, plus some. What are you going to do with all that knowledge this summer? #1 New York Times best-selling writer Jim Ottaviani has one idea: bring it together in a book, or at least a short comic! In this workshop, we’ll talk about inspiration that can come from things we’ve learned, things we want to learn, or sometimes, a grab bag of multiple ideas. Then we’ll turn some of those ideas into a mini-comic in several helpful steps. We’ll also have the chance to learn about the processes Jim uses to write his own books, including his brand new book (we mean NEW–release date of June 11, 2013!) Primates! There will be science, storytelling, monkey business, treats, and celebration–the perfect start to the summer.
