Have you ever wondered about how writing is used in science and engineering? In this workshop, we’ll learn first hand how important it is for scientists and engineers to communicate ideas through writing.  First, we’ll discuss drag and lift, the two most important forces considered in aerospace engineering. Then, we’ll have the chance to design and test our own paper airplanes, and to write instructions so that others can recreate our inventions in the future. We’ll test, compare, contrast, revise, and compete just a little in order to build the most well-engineered planes and to write the best sets of instructions.
