next season!

Wee-bots is a program for our youngest writers. Students use their creativity to experiment with all kinds of writing. We cover a new topic each week, starting by reading a book together. Then, we experiment and try out something exciting that the author has done as a writer in our own way. Over the semester, students have the opportunity to brainstorm, draft, revise, publish, and perform their new work! We supply the writing exercises and all the materials—students just need to come equipped with their imaginations!

This program is facilitated by one of our amazing volunteers, Claire Stano!

Note: We run two Wee-bots programs—one in Ann Arbor at the Liberty St. Robot Supply & Repair Shop and the other in Detroit at the Redford Branch of Detroit Public Library.
