Natalie Bakopoulos received her MFA from the University of Michigan, where she currently teaches. Her first novel, The Green Shore, set in Athens and Paris between 1967 and 1973, was published in June 2012 by Simon & Schuster. Her work has appeared in places such as Granta, Salon, The New York Times, Glimmer Train, Ninth Letter, and Tin House and received a 2010 O. Henry Award. She is a contributing editor for the online journal Fiction Writers Review (www.fictionwritersreview.com) and the co-author, with Eileen Pollack and Jeremiah Chamberlin, of Creative Composition (Cengage 2013).
