The magic and energy of 826michigan happens in K-12 classrooms in southeastern Michigan every day of the week!
In-school writing labs are custom developed in collaboration with our partner teachers to meet the unique needs and interests of their students. Students work with 826 staff and volunteers each week, and at the end of the semester, leave with a final product to take home.
Our in-school writing labs are designed for public schools in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Detroit. They are completely free of charge for students, teachers, and schools.

Note: We prioritize working with our existing school and teacher partnerships each school year. Most programs are scheduled before the school year begins.
