Longtime 826michigan board member Linda Adler-Kassner was given the 2009 Eastern Michigan University Distinguished Faculty Award for Service. This award is the highest honor any faculty member can earn at EMU, and we are so proud to have Linda support our work, too. In addition to being an amazing 826michigan board member and sometimes tutor, Linda is a Professor of English at EMU and also is very involved in their University Writing Center. This award especially acknowledges faculty who give unpaid time to support the university, its students and the community. And she does!
