Fantasy Landscapes: The Art of Cartography

We bet you have a special place in your mind, a place where all of your characters live and where great stories take place. This workshop offers you a chance to make a detailed map of a magical land and then write a short story about a journey through your world. We can’t wait to see where we’ll go!
Will Purves is a local writer, educator, and teacher who has worked with aspiring writers for many years. He is an experienced writing coach and has helped 826 as a workshop leader and tutor. He was honored as Volunteer of the Month in November 2010. His novel Fairmont Forever was published this year.
