Let’s face it: volunteering is awesome. I honestly get choked up at least once a week when I think of all the good work our fine volunteers are doing in the community…for free. And no one’s making them do it. It’s amazing, it really is.
WWJ does a weekly radio program called “Making a Difference” in which they profile local volunteers. We didn’t need WWJ to tell us we have some of the best volunteers in southeast Michigan, but we were certainly excited when they profiled our own Rachel Lieberman on June 14. Rachel, in addition to being one of our favorite people, is one of our hardest working volunteers.
You can listen to the profile here. And you can see the lovely and famous Rachel Lieberman starring in our Volunteer Orientation tomorrow night, right here at 826michigan, at 6pm. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to attend!
