Friends, we are overjoyed to honor the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation as this month’s Supporter of the Month. There are several reasons why of course, but it is especially timely to recognize their contribution to our work in the heart of winter tutoring season. Most notably, the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation recently awarded 826michigan’s After-school Tutoring Program a generous $25,000 grant to support our work in providing students who need focused, one-on-one academic attention with free individualized academic and writing help.

We know that the $25,000 investment from the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation will catalyze tremendous impact. Time and time again, we’ve seen students who regularly attend our tutoring program not only build strong study habits, but gain confidence, improve their test scores, and just as critically, develop their voices as writers within the community. By awarding 826michigan this grant, the Michigan Masonic Charitable Foundation is helping to nurture young writers who are sure of their importance in our world and will one day be the young adults leading positive change.
