The Detroit Robot Factory is finally open—and there are so many incredibly cool partnerships popping up between 826michigan, artists, writers, schools, and organizations across Detroit for the benefit of our students. This time around, students from Detroit’s Boggs School are the first to experience magical rides throughout the Eastern Market on pangolins, bison, and polar bears. Each creature came to life through collaborations between 826 National co-founder Dave Eggers, his imagination, and the tremendous artistry and talent of Detroiter Juan Martinez.
