Pink Shelves and Price Stickers

At 826michigan the fall season has been making its presence known through the sounds of power drills, paint brushes and the shuffle of boxes filled to the brim with items for the upcoming benefit sale (Sept. 14, 15, 16). Our space has been undergoing a spring-cleaning in September in anticipation of a new Executive Director, new interns and of course, students!

The intern dungeon has been newly organized and revamped with tons of pink shelving and monkeys and awaits project makers to fill its chairs with ideas and advancements.

A new office is being prepared for Erin, and rumors of purple walls have been whispered.

Boxes, beds and birdhouses line the writer’s wing waiting to be laid out for the upcoming rummage sale for which we are still accepting donations, Monday through Wednesday and can’t wait to see you at!

Even though we love summer and have shed more than a tear or two over its passing, the thought of sharpened pencils and written paragraphs inside our walls, quickly cheers us up!
