Program Update and Ginsberg Center Spotlight

Happy Monday, friends! As you probably know, today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which means there will be no programs today. Tutoring will resume at both the Liberty Street and the Washington Street locations tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21. We look forward to seeing our brilliant, energetic students again tomorrow – but until then, keep warm and enjoy this special day. (May we suggest a big mug of hot cocoa, or perhaps a visit to one of the University of Michigan’s MLK Symposium events?) Please call (734) 761-3463 with any questions about 826michigan programs!

In other service news, we are honored to be featured in a Partner Spotlight at the University of Michigan’s Edward Ginsberg Center for Community Service and Learning. The Ginsberg Center “enriches student learning, advances community priorities and inspires a lifelong commitment to citizenship” through service and community partnerships. The spotlight outlines all of the opportunities at 826michigan for community engagement, ranging from our many volunteer and internship programs to collaborations with community businesses and organizations.
