WELCOME TO THE FIRST-EVER ALL CAPS BLOG ENTRY. ARE WE SHOUTING AT YOU? YES, BUT NOT IN AN ANGRY WAY. WE ARE SHOUTING BECAUSE WE ARE SO EXCITED WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO YELL. ARE YOU DYING OF ANTICIPATION OF WHAT YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE? THAT’S CALLED NARRATIVE TENSION. WE DEAL WITH THAT A LOT HERE AT 826MICHIGAN.
OKAY, HERE GOES: WE’RE MOVING.
NOW THAT YOU’VE SOAKED THAT UP, WE’LL TELL YOU THE SECOND PART. READY? OKAY: THIS WEEKEND.
THAT’S RIGHT. AS OF 10AM MONDAY MORNING, 826MICHIGAN WILL BE OPERATING OUT OF OUR NEW SPACE, IN BEAUTIFUL DOWNTOWN ANN ARBOR, AT THE ADDRESS OF 115 EAST LIBERTY.
We’ll stop shouting now. BUT ISN’T IT EXCITING? Yes, yes, it is. Not only are we on the same block of a chocolate shop, we’re also right around the corner from the Blake Transit Center, AATA’s main Ann Arbor bus station. This means that students from all over Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti will be a bus ride away from our doorstep. (We did indeed have a bus stop nearby before, however, there were generally a lot of transfers involved.) We also have a wonderful new landlord who has generously drawn up a lease in which we pay a fraction of the rent we’ve been paying.
Stop by and see our new digs! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!
