Cheerrotary club of ann arbor logos to local Rotarians! 826michigan is grateful this month for the support of the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor in our Washtenaw-based Publications Program!

Not only do members of the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor sometimes volunteer in our Liberty Street Writing Lab alongside our bright students, but they also consistently invest funds to make it possible to publish the work 826michigan students create, thereby amplifying students’ voices. In addition to giving students a visible platform to communicate across audiences and communities, our Publications Program enables students to become better writers, more creative thinkers and problem solvers, confident advocates for their own well-being and that of others, and enthusiastic collaborators.

In addition to donating time and money to our work, our local Rotarians spread a great deal of joy wherever they go. (This is an especially useful temperament for our many robots to experience; warmth and sincerity are certainly key to developing full sentience.) We are grateful to not only benefit from the tangible resources that the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor shares with us, but also the positivity nurtured whenever their members are around.

Many thanks go out to the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor for their investment in 826michigan. We are happy to recognize its good work!
