V2 Seeks Student Submissions (Alliteration Not Required)!

October 12, 2006 | 826 Blog Post

Does the word “vacansopapurosophobia” ring any bells for you? It means “fear of a blank page,” and it’s the name of 826michigan and the Neutral Zone’s literary journal of student work.

Last year, Vacansopapurosophobia published over eighty area students, and this year we hope to publish even more than that.

Here are the basics:

  • All submissions must be received by December 22.
  • Submissions will ONLY be taken electronically. Send them to v@826michigan.org.
  • We accept submissions in any genre, but they must be under 4000 words in length.
  • All submissions must have the following information on them: your name, age, phone number, address, email address, school, and grade.
  • You must be in grades K-12 (not simultaneously).

If you have any questions about submissions, or if you are a high school student interested in being on our editorial board, email Amy.

We look forward to reading your submissions! Now check out this sweet flyer Maggie, one of our editors, made:
