Good morning to you all on this wet spring day. Are we the only ones who love walking to work on soggy mornings underneath brightly colored umbrellas? At any rate, the Summer Workshop Schedule was posted last night. You can find it here. At press time, we still have openings in most workshops, but many are one or two students away from being full.

The most impressive thing about this workshop schedule? We have students coming to us from all over. I mean, this isn’t new, exactly, but here it is, fifteen hours after we posted the schedule, and we have students from Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, sure, but also: Flint, Berkley, Livonia, Canton, South Lyon, and Dexter. In the past, we’ve had students from as far as Grand Rapids, Lansing, Battle Creek, and Toledo. Maybe we’ll put together a map! It’s exciting, non?

People sometimes ask us why, when all the other 826s are named after their cities, we are 826michigan. There’s your answer!

And many thanks to Lauren, our very stellar workshops intern, who worked into the wee hours of the night doing registrations!
